Astra IIIB marine sextant in wooden case with scope, cleaning brush, and miniature screwdriver. Horizon and index mirrors, shades, and handle intact and in excellent condition. Optional illuminated arc and drum; the bottom of the handle unscrews to reveal slot for two AA batteries; white button on the handle turns on the light. Vernier in excellent condition; button latch allows index arm to move across the arc and secure it at the correct angle. Scope is detachable. Instructions, certificate of qualification, guide, and cleaning cloth also included in box. Overall excellent condition. Overall: 5 x 9 1/2 x 9 in.
