A 1919 listing of ticket prices for Cunard's transatlantic service from New York to England on PANNONIA and SAXONIA. Both ships were single-class, so prices are based on the location on the ship and how many are traveling. On PANNONIA, an outside room for two would cost $110 each, or $220 total. Below is additional information about the AQUITANIA, MAURETANIA, CARMANIA, CARONIA and ORDUNA. This document was for the use of agents in the United States selling tickets, and this one was printed in Minneapolis in February 1919. Although World War I was recently over, American passengers were still being charged an additional war revenue tax of up to $5 per passenger, and non-citizens leaving the U.S. had to apply for a travel permit. Moreover, "subjects of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria or Turkey cannot be accepted as passengers Eastbound or Westbound without permission from the British Home Secretary, London." On pink paper, reverse is blank.
