A menu for the "Get Together Dinner" on the first night of a Fire Chiefs' Havana Cruise on October 11, 1931. There were 350 fire chiefs aboard for this trip, on their way from New York to the International Fire Chief Association in Havana. The ship was chartered by National Tours for this Havana trip, which is why their name and logo appear on the cover. The front and back covers have a colorful illustration that seems to refer to dance and music. A newspaper reported that this trip was the first time a musical comedy would be performed aboard a ship, with a musical revue that had just closed on Broadway called "Shoot the Works" put on by the entire cast and crew. The newspaper also reported that two harbor fireboats escorted the SCYTHIA out of the harbor to honor the fire chiefs aboard. The page opposite from the menu listing says "Fire Chiefs' Havana Cruise," with a fire hose design. The multi-course dinner was elegant, but the menu has fewer choices than the ordinary Cunard menus of this time period.
