Dinner menu dated August 29, 1960 from the QUEEN MARY. The cover has a photograph of a floral embroidered item, which a caption on the back cover explains is a needlepoint carpet made by the late Queen Mary (namesake of the ship) and that it had travelled on the QUEEN MARY in 1950 for exhibition in the United States. It was reproduced by permission of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire Canada, which had purchased it. Queen Mary passed away in 1953.
