Program card for a dance held on the CARPATHIA on June 6, 1912. The list includes a number of popular waltzes of the time as well as three two-steps. This dance took place less than two months after the sinking of the TITANIC and the CARPATHIA's rescue of the survivors, and the first song on this card is a poignant reminder of that event. The popular waltz Songe d'Automne (Dream of Autumn) was one of the last songs-- and according to some witnesses the very last song-- that the TITANIC's band played as the ship was sinking. The cover has a colorful embossed decoration. Interestingly, the heading on the inside says Menu and that has been crossed out and replaced with Programme.
