overall: 4 3/8 x 3 in.
A daily program of deck games on the TYRRHENIA on July 2, 1923. The events listed include a potato race, a three legged race, a nail driving competition, egg and spoon races, and a pillow fight. There are handwritten names below each race, perhaps the winners of each event. The name of the captain, W.H. Hossack, is included on the front cover and the committee organizing the event is listed on the back cover. The TYRRHENIA was a Cunard ship that entered into service in 1922, but in 1924 it was renamed the LANCASTRIA after passengers had difficulty pronouncing its name and took to calling it the "Old Soup Tureen."
