Case for C. Plath sextant 2014.74.1.1. Included in case: cleaning brush, adjustment tools, examination certification from C. Plath, Hamburg dated 1940, adjustment certification from Trans Pacific Marine LTD, Auckland, New Zealand dated 18 December 1972. Examination certificate “Prüfungsschein” has a sticker in the upper right corner for John Bliss Nautical Instrument Company. Mount for sextant not screwed into base, appears to be replacement because the screw placement does not line up to the original hole. Tag marked “IBERIA” attached to handle. Overall good condition. Overall: 6 3/4 x12 3/8 x 12 1/4 in.
