A plank-on-frame full-hull model of a Race Point Surf Boat, built by Charles S. Fox. Model is at 1:24 (1/2" = 1') scale; includes nine oars, boat hook, hatchet, and rope (all to scale). "HIGHLAND" stamped on either side of the stern; "U.S.S.L.S.S" stamped on either side of the bow. Plaque on lower right of base reads: "RACE POINT TYPE SURFBOAT / SCALE 1/2" = 1' / MADE BY CHARLES S. FOX". Includes display case. Delayed accession; model was originally purchased in 2019. Overall: 11 1/2 x 21 x 8 1/2 in.
