The front page has very brief news stories, including the leading story about the crisis in the Middle East at the time and one about a KLM flight that had crashed in the Atlantic. Some of the stories are lighter news like the story of a French woman who lived to 107 years old. There are also cricket, racing, and rugby scores and weather forecasts. Inside there is a short story about things to see in New York and a story about the possible introduction of yaks to Canada. The back has a stock market report. There is also some shipboard information like the surgeon's consulting hours and some meetings taking place aboard.
