A menu from the QUEEN MARY dated March 24, 1938. Unlike other menus, this appears to be a set menu with just one offering per course, but they are very elegant offerings: caviar, turtle soup, sole meunière, chicken with a brown butter sauce, asparagus with Hollandaise sauce, and crêpes Suzette. On the left page is written, "Mr and Mrs. Erving Haim." Perhaps they were celebrating their anniversary that day. The front cover has an artistic rendering of deer, captioned on the back cover as "One of the three large mural carvings by John Skeeping, Starboard Gallery, Promenade Deck, R.M.S. 'Queen Mary'."
