Metal mathematical instrument set in blue velvet lined wooden case, 1977.92.1433.a, with removable wooden tray, 1977.92.1433.b. Bronze inlay on top and on front edge with keyhole; key missing. Removeable tray lined with same blue velvet as the interior case, bottom of case divided in two horizontally by wooden pegs. No date, style similar to those of Late Victorian and Edwardian period. No visible maker. Believed to be part of Scholfield collection 1977.92. Overall fair condition; some wear visible to the velvet, left wooden dividing peg broken from siding, metal strip on bottom unattached and no apparent breakage point; crack along the bottom of the case. Overall: 4 5/8 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/4 in (case); 3 7/8 x 6 5/8 x 1/2 in. (tray).
