#3 Surfboards Hawaii elephant gun big wave surfboard designed and shaped by Dick Brewer, manufactured 2006; board based off the design Brewer created for Buzzy Trent in 1964. Series of boards based off Trent's model were created in collaboration between Brewer and Trent in 2006; 50 total were manufactured, only 10 were manufactured before Trent's passing. Board made out of foam, tinted light green, with 3 redwood stringers; middle stringer 1". Outline of Ohau, Hawaii stamped or engraved on the top surface near rear 'HALEIWA / Surfboards / Hawaii. / BUZZY TRENT MODEL / RB / 6/50'; signed 'Buzzy Trent' below 'BUZZY TRENT MODEL'; handwritten vertically along central stringer 'Dick Brewer Buzzy Trent Model'. Additionally signed on the bottom vertically along the edge of centrail stringer 'Buzzy Trent Model Dick Brewer'. Overall excellent condition; some discoloration underneath epoxy resin and light scuffs to the surface. Overall: 137 x 21 1/2 x 9 in.
