overall: 5 1/2 x 3 1/4 in.
A postcard of the TITANIC, signed by seven survivors. The ship's image on the front is captioned "The ill-fated S.S. Titanic. Foundered April 15, 1912." The card itself was addressed to Miss Rita Langille of Martin's River, Nova Scotia in March 1914 with a message about her upcoming visit to the sender. At some point, seven different survivors autographed it, including Bertram V. Dean and his sister Millvina Dean, Eva Hart, Edith Haisman-Brown, Beatrice Sandstrom, George Thomas, and Louise Pope. An additional signature is illegible. The autographs are all in different ink and some are squeezed in, suggesting they were signed at different times.
