overall: 2 1/4 x 3 3/4 in.
A February 1979 autograph of Edwina MacKenzie, a survivor of the TITANIC. Edwina MacKenzie had immigrated from England to the U.S. in 1907 but went back to England in 1911. In April 1912, she boarded the TITANIC because her sister was pregnant and she was going to help her. She travelled in Second Class. After the iceberg collision, Edwina MacKenzie alerted others and helped them prepare to evacuate, watching lifeboat after lifeboat depart. It was only when someone handed her a baby who had become separated from its mother that she agreed to board a lifeboat herself.
