The Titanic Historical Society is a group formed in 1963 with the mission of preserving Titanic's history. It publishes a journal, operates a small museum with artifacts from the Titanic and other ships, and holds an annual banquet event. Titanic survivors often attended these events. This booklet includes the program and menu for the 1982 event in Philadelphia, and the cover has been signed by a number of people, including several survivors (Frank Aks,Ruth Blanchard, John B. Thayer,Eva Hart, Ruth Blanchard and Edwina MacKenzie), several people who had written books on the Titanic (including Walter Lord) and Victoria Goldsmith, the widow of survivor Frank J. Goldsmith who passed away in 1982, and others. At the top is written "for John P. Eaton," who is another author who has written about the Titanic.
