Foldout postcard of Waikiki Beach and Honolulu, Hawaii distrubuted by the Hawaii Promotion Committee; postcard dated 15 February, 1912. First side folds out to reveal an area for writing a message, a photograph of two men surfing, a panorama photograph of Waikiki Beach, and a photograph of a single man surfing; one of the men may be Duke Kahanamoku. Detailed description of each section as follows from left to right. Message section includes printed text followed by area for sender to fill in details, reads 'Temperature at noon yesterday [printed] Summer heat [written] / Honolulu, Hawaii, [printed] Feb. 12 [written] / Lots of Love [written] / WE ARE ALWAYS HAPPY IN HAWAII [printed] & [?]on board the Cleveland [written]'. Photograph of two men surfing captions 'ON SURF BOARDS', copyright in lower left corner of photograph 'Copyright by A.R. Information about Hawaii provided by the Hawaii Promotion Committee reads, 'THE CLIMATE OF HAWAII / A climate that breeds happiness and laughter - where the old grow young and the young never grow old. / One lives so comfortably in Hawaii that weather conditions never enter into your thoughts. The medical "dont's" which are necessary in so many really good climates are unknown here. / In summing up an article on the climate of Hawaii, Dr. Leland E.
