A piece of paper is adhered to the upper-left corner of the photo, with the typed text: '11.---the 1949 Yale Varsity Crew.' Back side has many marks , handwritten in pencil and pen. The following is written in pencil, '7E/3 1/4-N', '4 col', '5 3/4', and '16 E' but this text is crossed out. A circled number 11 is written in the center of the back side in blue ink. Overall fair condition, photo curling with a crease on the left side of the photo and abrasions on the corners. 7.865'' x 5''
