Soft-Plumaged Petrel Egg (tentative ID) (Pterodroma mollis); species native to the Southern Hemisphere, likely collected on Tristan da Cunha before 1885. Small, cream white egg shell with faint dappling, the number 11 written in pencil, and a small hole where the egg was drained. Overall: 1 3/4 x 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 in.
