Southern Fulmar Egg (tentative ID) (Fulmarus glacialoides); native to the Southern Hemisphere, possibly collected on Tristan da Cunha before 1885. One of two southern fulmar egg shells in collection. Medium-sized, white, with faint brown spotting, a small hole where the egg was drained, and the number 1 written in pencil. Overall: 3 1/8 x 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.
