Moseley's Rockhopper Penguin Egg (Eudyptes moseleyi); native to select islands in the Southern Hemisphere, likely collected on Tristan da Cunha before 1885. Medium-large, off-white egg with the number 12 written in pencil, a small hole where the egg was drained, and a paper label affixed reading "Penguin Egg". Overall: 3 3/8 x 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 in.
