Christmas card featuring colored etching of maritime scene manufactured by Rust Craft Greeting Cards; card is undated but is similar to cards manufactured during the 1920s and earlier. Etching on upper half of card depicts ship under full sail reaching the crest of a wave, scene is framed by a pink and gold border; a christmas wreath is printed on the lower left corner of the maritime scene, gold and light blue snowflakes scattered along the margins; edges of the card are decorated with a 1/16" border of gold foil. Printed message on lower half of card reads, '
For You / at Christmas / To greet you at Christmas / and wish you cheer / Through every day / of the coming year.'; signed in black ink '"Margaret M."'. Printed on lower edge of the reverse, '10X119 RUST CRAFT BOSTON. U.S.A.'. Overall: 3 3/4 x 4 3/4 in.
