Two cylinder compound steam engine from tug PEGASUS (bt. 1927 as SOCONY 5 by (engine and boat) Staten Island Shipbuilding Co., for Standard Oil Company of New York); 850 HP; Scotch Steam Boiler - Fire Tube - Oil fired; PEGASUS converted to houseboat by naval architect Alfred F. Sanford, later converted to restaurant in Florida, and then to ticket booth and lounge for gambling boat.
