The New London Races were held on the 19th or the 20th as part of the event pertaining to the spectators and their vessels coming to the Harvard-Yale Races and were taken off New London, CT. Although not an official series of real races, it was titled as the "New London Races". Both names, Harvard-Yale Races and New London Races, were used by the magazines and newspapers.
