Safety negative by Carleton Mitchell; view of Kalmar Castle in the Smaland region of southern Sweden, from the water; on Kalmar Sound, Sweden; the oldest parts of the castle date to the eleventh century, and it became the center of the Kalmar Union in 1397, when a treaty was signed here uniting Denmark, Norway and Sweden; restored in the nineteenth century; yawl yachts CARIBBEE and ARGYLL lie at anchor between the castle and the camera; included with the views of a cruise to the Baltic by Carleton Mitchell on board yawl yacht CARIBBEE and William T.
