Safety negative by Carleton Mitchell; view of one of the towers along the outside of the city wall surrounding Visby, Gotland Island, Sweden; built in the 1200's by Hanseatic League merchants to protect the commercial warehouses from thieves, the surviving 38 citadels rise to 50-66ft; towers from St. Mary's Cathedral can be seen above the wall near right; corresponds with views from a cruise to the Baltic by Carleton Mitchell on board yawl yacht CARIBBEE and William T.
