Sewing kit; WWII issued official U.S. Navy marked sewing kit, complete with all contents including spare buttons; tied closed with a square knot; owned by sailor Wright Eckersley Scott; contents include: one pair of scissors; three loose sewing needles; 5 safety pins; 1 thimble; 6 spools of thread; 6 balls of thread; 10 white buttons; 7 blue buttons; 24 black buttons; 4 black buttons with Navy anchor; 1 clear plastic heart; 1 package of R.J. Roberts silver eye sharps sewing needles; came in sea bag 1999.47.1.
