International Sound Interclub Class Races (1933)

The Sound Interclub Class sloops raced the Bermuda One Design sloops at the International One Design Class Races held September 17 to the 21, 1933. Race designed between two respected classes, the Sound Interlcub Class of Long Island Sound and the Bermuda Corinthians. September series had 6 races which the Interclubs won 4 to 2. Began off Larchmont, New York on Long Island Sound. A total of 8 sloops were involved in the race. From the U.S. were: AILEEN, CANVASBACK, SUSAN, KENBOY. From Bermuda were: CARDINAL, STARLING, CYRIC II, FLIRT.
