Held at the Detroit Yacht Club on the Detroit River for the following: Harmsworth Trophy Race 1930, 50-mile Sweepstakes Race, Schantz Trophy, Richardson Cruiser Race; News International Trophy, Dodge 16-foot Sweepstakes, Matthews Cruisers Race, numerous cruiser and stock runabout, outboard and 151 cu. class raced. *Detroit News 5 1/2 Liter Trophy (International Class) - 1st race held at the Detroit Races. MISS BRITAIN won (1st foreign entry); PHANTOM came in 2nd.
