National Outboard Association Championships held September, 1935 as Tulsa, Oklahoma. on a man made lake (Sequoyah) in Mohawk County. Drew a field of 70 participants and an estimated 10k spectators, and had about $3000 worth of prizes to offer to the champions. The mile trials, held on the third day, were carried out some 70 miles from Tulsa at Lake Spavinaw.
