Not held due to World War I. VANITIE was one of 3 cutters built for 1914 defense of International Cup Races against SHAMROCK IV, the Lipton challenger, she tried unsuccessfully to qualify as defender in America's Cup 1914.
The races were suppose to be held in 1914 starting September 10th, Sept. 12th, Sept. 15th, the on the following Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday as needed.
