Georgian mahogany marine barometer (A), with solid brass swivel gimbal (later) (B); trap door type with silvered barometer and thermometer dials, thermometer on trap door, ivory-brass guide for vernier, silvered engraved name plate "Cary/ London", brass base as cistern cover with exposed brass screw adjuster, in working order; scratched on wood on back "M 194". Ivory knobbed key for adjustments.
