Box dry card boat compass manufactured by Wilcox-Crittenden, c. 1910. Manufacturer's monogram on card. Box has rounded edges, dovetail construction, two brass latches. Compass frame painted black, stamped "C 899" on base. Used by H.W. Stone, on fishing vessel in the Miami-Florida Keys area in the 'teens and 1920's.
