Label partially torn out reads "No. 126 Com[illegible; possibly Commercial St. Boston]; inscribed "SBR" in ivory vernier scale; ivory knob unscrews and is a pencil; No date. "Sch. Ocean Ranger" penciled inside cover; octant stamped "D".
