Vernier octant in case, ebony frame, ivory scales, brass arm and fittings. Has one peep sight, no filters, mirrors mottled, arc scale coming off. Name plate on limb missing. Frame cracked near index mirror and arm scale chipped. Stamped on arc scale "SBR" between 45°-50° (Made by Spencer, Browning & Rust, London).
