Brass tulip-pattern frame sextant, brass frame and fittings. Wooden handle; 2 sets of shades, telescopic sight. Scales scratched but not in bad condition. English manufacture, late 19th century. Frame is blackened brass and the arc is brass with the degree scale being made from silver. Trade label for Feathers?, Sunderland & [Barry docks ??Cardiff?
