O/ U.S. NAVY BuSHIPS/ N (circled) 6123 1944/ MERGENTHALER LINOTYPE COMPANY/ BROOKLYN, NEW YORK", inside box lid U.S. Naval Observatory, Washington, D.C. Collimation Certificate dated Feb. 19, 1945; frame alloy(?), scale graduated 0 deg. to 90 deg. by 1 deg., drum micrometer vernier reading to .1', hard rubber handle, molded on back of frame "BRS-52-AA", equipped w/2 telescopes, one marked "DAY" & one marked "NIGHT", each w/built-in screens & rubber eye piece.
