Sextant, bronze frame, brass limb w/silver scale, English manufacture; limb engraved "Schwalb Hermanos, Valparaiso." Scale graduated -5 deg. to +150 deg. by 1 deg. subdivided by 10', silver vernier, reinforced index arm w/swinging magnifier, index mirror w/4 shades, horizon glass w/3 shades, 5 telescopes, wood handle. In wood box w/key, wood plaque carved in relief glued to inside of lid "A. G. Niido", thumbtacked inside lid U.S. Customs Service application for Certificate of Registration, dated New York 7/2/45. Measuring to 131°.
