Ship's "Star" log, made by John Bliss & Co., 128 Front St., New York, NY, 1902, resting in original box. Log consists of brass and metal "Star" register with white enamel dial (maker's name on dial); brass "Star" rotator (patent adjustable log rotator, stamped with maker's name and patents); 2 metal shoes and 1 screw; 2 metal hooks; 1 metal governor.
