Builder's half model of the steamer EDWIN FORREST built by John Roach, Chester, PA. Model construction: 4 lifts, port view, pine lifts, red bottom, white topsides, green stripe halfway between the sheer and the waterline, black rub rail, white deckhouse with green roof, green rail cap on a white rail, white smokestack. Rudder, deckhouse, railing, smokestack, keel, wheelhouse missing. Backboard painted red (flaking off) with gold moulded edges. "EDWIN FORREST" painted on the side of the deckhouse. Hollow entrance, hard bilges, long flat run, light aft quarter, straight sternpost, short counter, round stern.
