Decorative half model of schooner yacht BRILLIANT. Vessel designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built by Henry B. Nevins, Inc., City Island, N.Y. in 1932. Model construction: appears to be solid except for a piece added for the bottom of the keel, starboard view. White topsides, green bottom. Rudder, two stub masts and a stub bowsprit. Backboard alligatored varnish. Plaque on backboard, "BRILLIANT/ DESIGNED BY/ SPARKMAN & STEPHENS". Drag to keel, raking sternpost, yacht counter, transom stern, hollow garboards.
