Half model of Hampton boat made by John Pettingill in 1881. Boat builder was from Crotch Island, Maine, builder of this type of boat. Built of six strips of wood, model is green topside, with black hull. Plans available in Soule "The Hampton Boat", in "American Neptune", April 1943, fig. 1.
