Palmer, Jr. had the model made in Hong Kong (for $10) and gave it to H.A. Scheel; starboard view, painted red below waterline, white topsides, wood deck, screwed to wooden backboard; handwritten in pencil on backboard "STON F. I. 44/ Des by H A Scheel/ Model made in/ HONG KONG/ 1963", and in pen "STONINGTON 44/ DES BY H A SHEEL/ MODEL MADE IN HONG/ KONG 1965./ (signed) Henry R.
