Silver print; photographed by Carleton Mitchell; stern of cabin cruiser KATE M for repair of damaged rudder; Little Current; taken during a cruise to the North Channel of Lake Huron and the islands along the upper shore of Georgian Bay; summer 1946; handwritten on reverse "742/ Little Current:/ Making ready for the installation of a new rudder/ on the KATE M. Zib seized the opportunity to catch/ up on the washing./ The KATE was hauled out by horse-power - 2 horses borrowed from a neighboring farmer, hitched to a tackle made fast to the cradle.".
