Rigged, built to scale, fully equipped model of an American whaleboat, period of 1850. Suspended from davits attached to backboard representing bulwards of whaleship, painted white with black trim. Rigging; rudder, and tiller, 3 buckets, 2 tubs with coils of rope, 1 buoy, sail lashed on spars, 5 oars, 2 paddles, 1 steering oar, one axe, 1 red marker on staff, 1 killing lance, 4 harpoons or spades. Scale 1/2" to foot by Elmer F. Tanner, East Boston. Beam 3 1/4", amidships depth 1 1/4"
