Large anchor which came with the CHARLES W. MORGAN; presumed to have come from a British vessel; stock is replaced by a larger than the original which was too small for the anchor; sign on anchor "Anchor from British frigate believed to have engaged in the blockade of Newport, RI, during the Revolution."
