Half model of sloop rigged sandbagger RICHMOND. Two pine lifts, mahogany gunwale nailed on. Painted green below waterline, white above. Gold cove line ending in gold scroll design at bow. (Built and designed by D.O. Richmond, Mystic, Connecticut, 1855, built in 26 days to the Charles Henry Mallory could sail her in Newport Regatta, 1855).
