Half model of yacht TOMAHAWK, designed by Edward Burgess. Built by Henry Peipgras, City Island, New York. Built 1889 for 40' class. Material is probably pine lifts, painted black topsides, red bottom. Bowsprit and mast stubs. Marquetry inlaid backboard, natural finish. Brass name plate.
