Framed oil painting of 5-masted schooner JENNIE R. DUBOIS (bu. 1902, Holmes Shipyard, Mystic, CT for Sutton fleet; largest wooden hull ever built in CT; sunk 1903 in collision w/steamer off Block Island; Capt. E. H. Smeed). Schooner flying American flag, blue-outlined white pennant w/name in red letters, and house flag w/initials "J. R. D." on blue. Very dark blue water; sky bright blue shading to slate at horizon; gray cliffs left background & white lighthouse atop cliffs. Vessel hull black. Signed lower left: S. F. M. Badger/ Charlestown/ Mass/
