Mandarin robe of the Manchu Dynasty (1644-1912) for a horseman. It is identified by split to permit riding a horse, horse hoof sleeves and cuffs which turn back when wearer shoots an arrow. Garment is of solt blue silk patterned, lined in plain blue.
