HALIGONIAN was built originally as a 45' Lunenberg schooner fisherman in 1926. Her designer was W.J. Roue and her builder was Kenneth MacAlpine & Son of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, Canada. HALIGONIAN began her life as a Canadian fisherman and raced in the Canadian International Fisherman's Trials October, 1926. Object is a soft copy negative acquired from yacht broker Tams & King.
